Attendee Registrant Substitutions & Cancellation Policies

If you cannot attend the event for which you registered, you may provide a substitute or cancel your reservation.

Substitutions Policy

Substitute attendees may be named five days prior to any event or during onsite registration. Notification of substitution must be submitted in writing from the original registrant to txhima@txhima.org. No substitutions will be taken by phone.


Cancellation Policy

TxHIMA reserves the right to move, postpone or cancel any educational session or event due to civil disturbance, inclement or adverse weather or travel conditions that might prevent attendees to safely commute, a safety threat of any kind, inability of a speaker to attend and lack of appropriate substitute, or any other reason out of the control of TxHIMA.

Cancellations must be in writing and received before 10 days prior to the event. Please email txhima@txhima.org with your request to cancel. The entire registration fee will be retained by TxHIMA for cancellations received after the cancellation date. A $25.00 cancellation fee will be retained by TxHIMA for cancellations received prior to the registration date.

A refund will be given for written requests received 3 weeks before the Annual Conference and at least 10 days for webinars and events. No refunds will be granted after these dates. Cancellations must be received in writing from the original registrant to txhima@txhima.org. No cancellations will be taken by phone.

Registrants who do not attend the event and/or do not contact TxHIMA via written correspondence during the set window as directed above will be responsible for the full attendee registration fee.
