The Department of Health Informatics & Information Management (HIIM) at Texas State University offers accredited undergraduate and graduate degree programs to begin and advance the careers of HIIM professionals. The Bachelor of Science in Health Information Management (BSHIM) program is available entirely online or on the Round Rock Campus. The Master of Health Information Management (MHIM) degree is available entirely online. Both programs are accredited by the Commission on Accreditation for Health Informatics and Information Management Education (CAHIIM) establishing eligibility to test for the prestigious Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) credential from the American Health Information Management Association (AHIMA).
