TxHIMA is
partnering with HIMSS and other organizations for Texas
Health IT Day. We would like to have a unified voice to
visit with legislators about HIT, HIE, and HIM issues
related to HIM professionals. Many of our issues that
we would like to provide information to the Texas
legislators cross organizational boundaries, so we want
TxHIMA members to volunteer to
visit with their legislators. Volunteers to sign up to
visit with their legislators will be provided with
informational packets, appointments, and directions for
the event.

before bills and laws are created that affect our
