Silent Auction Items

On behalf of TXHIMA, I would like to invite you to participate in a very special event at the 2010 Convention; the Silent Auction. This event held during our yearly Convention in June has become very popular and has had far reaching benefits to the Health Information Profession. All funds raised from the silent auction go directly to the student scholarship fund. Contributions from professionals like you have helped make this event such a success each year.

The student scholarship fund will assist individuals advance in the Health Information Management profession by encouraging students to continue on to the next level of education. Your contribution to the silent auction will help TXHIMA educate the next generation of Health Information Management professionals.   

Please consider contributing an item to the silent auction on behalf of your district, employer, college alumni or yourself. Some items that have done well in past silent auctions include:  gift baskets, jewelry, ipods, electronic items, holiday décor items, any food items and books. The auction will be held in conjunction with our regularly scheduled convention at the Embassy Suites and Spa Conference Center in San Marcos, TX.

We encourage you to bring a friend or colleague and your checkbook.
